WASHINGTON, D.C. – In a monumental stride for global educational collaboration, Somaiya Vidyavihar University (SVU) marked its prominent presence at the “International Education Fair, NAFSA 2023” held in Washington DC from 30th May to 2nd June. The event provided an illustrious platform for educational institutions worldwide to connect, collaborate, and innovate.
The Vice Chancellor of SVU, Prof V. N. Rajasekharan Pillai, was at the forefront of the university’s participation in the prestigious “India Pavilion.” He was honored with a certificate presented by Dr. M. R. Jayaram, Sr Vice President of EPSI, and Prof T. G. Sitharam, Chairman of AICTE, recognizing SVU’s commitment to education excellence.
One of the highlights of the event was a visit to the SVU booth by representatives of UC Leuven Limburg-Belgium, a valued partner university. The meeting between the SVU delegation, led by Vice Chancellor Prof Pillai, and UC Leuven Limburg-Belgium representatives fostered further dialogue and paved the way for future collaborative endeavors.
Several other esteemed partner universities, including Saint Martin University and New York University, also visited the SVU booth. These visits underscored the international reputation and academic appeal that Somaiya Vidyavihar University continues to gain across the globe.
