In an inspiring achievement that underscores the exceptional talents nurtured at Somaiya College of Engineering (KJSCE), B.Tech Information Technology student Sahil Biswas secured first place in the prestigious Reliance Best Speaker Competition. The event took place on June 30, 2023, at Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Mumbai.
Known for its rigorous selection process and high standards, the Reliance Best Speaker Competition is a platform that brings together some of the most promising public speakers from various educational institutions. Sahil’s victory in this esteemed competition is a testament to his exceptional oratory skills and determination.
Sahil’s participation began with auditions held in May, where he showcased his profound interest in public speaking. His compelling speech on Mental Health Advocacy not only left a lasting impression on the judges but also deeply resonated with the audience. Through his eloquent words and persuasive delivery, Sahil managed to turn a critical societal issue into a rallying call for awareness and compassion.
