Abhiyantriki, the annual technical festival of K.J. Somaiya College of Engineering, in its 25th edition with its theme – #EmbracingEvolution, held on the 4th and 5th of October 2023 unfolded as a remarkable celebration of technological prowess and intellectual exchange.

The Inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar, the former Director of the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), as the Chief Guest, Shri. Samir Somaiya, Dr. V.N. Rajsekharan Pillai, Dr. Shuba Pandit and other respected dignitaries, faculty members and students. With distinguished representatives from the Indian Air Force, the National Security Guard and the Rapid Action Force at the Tech Expo of KJSCE with their magnificent displays, alongside Indro 5.0 – a humanoid robot, the teams of KJSCE’s Mega Projects and others, made the Tech Expo truly groundbreaking. Over the span of 2 days, Abhiyantriki 2023 hosted two extremely insightful Speaker Sessions by Dr. Srivari Chandrasekhar who was also the former secretary to the Government of India, Department of Science and Technology and Mr. Harishankaran K. – Co-Founder and CTO of HackerRank. In addition to which, an engaging Panel Session over ‘The Impact of AI – Transforming Industries and Shaping Societies’ with Mr. Paritosh Desai, Mr. Gaurav Perti, Mr. Manish Advani as the panelists and Mr. Adhitya Iyer as the Moderator for the same.
Informative sessions and intriguing automobile display at the Auto Expo also caught the eye of all the automobile enthusiasts. The Tech Events hosted by KJSCE Technical Councils served as a thrilling platform for students to come forward, engage and learn at the same time. Not to forget the Tech Shield – an exciting lineup of events for branches to compete in. Lastly, the Fun and Informal deliberations that made Abhiayntriki a mega event, providing an adrenaline rush as participants and all gaming enthusiasts engaged in fun games of those like FIFA, BGMI, Valorant and Laser Tag. All in all, Abhiyantriki 2023 soared to new heights encompassing a fusion of technological brilliance, setting a new standard for innovation and excellence.
