The Student Council successfully orchestrated ‘All Izz Well’, the official icebreaker event that transcended inter-divisional boundaries and surpassed expectations in fostering unity among participants. The event spanned from 13 – 15 July 2023 and was designed to promote creativity and proactiveness amidst the junior batch. The event served as a platform for showcasing the ingenious ideas of the students.
Pre buzz
The event kick started by testing the business acumen of students with a modified version of ‘Shark Tank’. Every division participated with 5 representatives coming up with new business ideas and pitching the sharks. We were honored by the presence of Ralston sir, Anjali ma’am, Aarti ma’am as the sharks. The teams were given a budget and with creative brainstorming. 11 startup ideas were pitched with Div 4 as winner and Div 2 and Div 8 as runners-up.
Student Council collaborated with FORSE committee and Photography Club to conduct ‘Kaha Gaya use dhundho’ and ‘Shutter Buzz’, respectively. The students participated with tremendous enthusiasm creating much hype for the D Day.
Day 1
The All Izz Well day 1 unfolded, participants immersed themselves in the vibrant campus atmosphere through “The Walk of Unity,” enhancing their sense of belonging and connection, representing 11 themes with costumes and acts.
The event had an inclusive approach. It involved students from diverse academic backgrounds and various classes, encouraged interactions among juniors and seniors, generating a supportive and encouraging environment for all. Adding more creativity to the day, The war of Acts allowed students to bind the stories from movies and bring up the act with twists in storyline.
The Day 1 concluded with a Masquerade themed DJ party powered by RedBull.
Day 2
Day 2 of All Izz Well saw the Sports Committee’s Sports Fiesta. Sports Fiesta was a 3 level sporting extravaganza that saw the divisions (2023-25) competing in various sports like dodgeball, box cricket, and penalty shootouts, amongst other adrenaline-rush sports. The day concluded with division 1 emerging as the winner.
There were 3 other recognitions at the division level:
1. Energizer Bunny (winner – Division 6)
2. Masters of Celebration (winner – Division 7)
3. Division Uprising With Unity (winner – Division 2)
Day 3
Marking the end of All Izz Well 2023, the last day started with a performance by Mauj and Grooves club followed by the finale quiz.
Undoubtedly, “All Izz Well” was a powerful facilitator in strengthening bonds among classmates, establishing lasting friendships, and cultivating an overall cheerful ambiance throughout the campus. The well-deserved recognition went to Division 1, securing the top position, while Division 6 and Division 2 claimed the second and third positions, respectively. Apart from the top 3 winners, Div 1 won the Sports Fiesta, Div 10 won the best ‘Walk of Unity and War of Acts’, Div 4 won the ‘Best Digital & Short film’.
